Suzanne Schulting was born in Groningen on 25 September 1997. She grew up in a small village in Friesland, The Netherlands. Schulting started ice skating at the age of eight. She won gold at the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang in 2018, gold at the WK Shorttrack in Sofia in 2019 and gold at the EK Shorttrack in 2019 and 2020.
